Menlo is giving five students the opportunity to attend the LeaderShape Institute this summer at Dominican University.
These students will take part in a six day learning seminar developing leadership skills, where they will be staying on the tranquil Dominican campus in San Rafael, California.
The Menlo College Student Government, Athletics and Student Affairs are offering full scholarships to five nominated student. This will cover room and board as well as dining services.
The purpose of the LeaderShape Institute is to develop the leaders of tomorrow by providing a unique experience that shapes students to lead and give back to their community.
"LeaderShape has taught me the importance of integrity and working as a team," said Hanna Malak, Student Body President and LeaderShape Alumni.
The LeaderShape Institute will give these students the chance to work side by side with professionals in their respected fields.
"Being able to meet and work with leaders at local colleges was my favorite part of the seminar," said Malak.
The one week seminar will be on June 7-12.
