"It makes me feel good to go out and help the community, like I'm actually making a difference in somebody's life," Hanna Malak said. "It's a great feeling."

Helping the community isn't the only thing that Malak does. In fact he's the president of the Menlo Student Body, a wrestler, and a student. He gets excellent grades, works as a waiter at Cafe Borrone, is a natural born leader and volunteers on his free time. Basically he's an all around good guy with a great personality. Meet Hanna Malak.

The 20 year old Sophomore from San Mateo, Ca hasn't been shy around Menlo College.  He's found basically everything possible to keep him busy and entertained.

A graduate of Serra High School, Malak chose Menlo because it was a Business School and relatively close to home.

"I can see myself owning and managing my own business one day," Malak said. "It's pretty much what I've always wanted to do."

Wrestling was also a big factor in his decision. When wrestling in high school, college athletics was something he always thought about.

This year wrestling was a little tough for him. Hanna found it difficult jumping around different weight classes, but next year hopes to improve.

"I  didn't win as much as I would have liked to," Malak said. "But I'm going to train a lot during the off season and hopefully do a lot better next year."

Another interesting thing that takes up a lot of Malak's time is his current presidency position. Not only is he the president here at Menlo College, but he was also president in High School.

Although Malak didn't intend to join the student body at first, he decided it would be good for him. He figured if he had to live here, he wanted to have a say in what was going to go on around campus.

"It's been such a good year for us. Currently there are 30 active clubs going on around campus, and the events we've put on have been really successful," he said.

Not only was Malak our President this year but he also plans to be our President for the 2010-2011 school year. In fact, he was the only nominee.

"I'm excited that I have another turn at being President," Malak said. "This year was the beginning with small changes and next year we're going to make bigger changes for the long run."

Although Menlo College did see differences in clubs and events, Malak wants to make these changes bigger and broader. He plans on getting the students more involved and giving more leadership opportunities to those who are interested.

A big thing for Malak is to get the day students more involved on campus events.
