Menlo College has stepped up this year with a much needed upgrade to the cafeteria on campus. Students can now enjoy better seating, better tables, cups that don't leak, and a variety of other additions that make the Menlo College dining experience better overall.

The renovations started over the summer and included the renovation of Brawner hall, the main classroom building on campus. The new additions were donated to Menlo College from HP allowing the school to remodel and re-image itself in one summer. In addition to the obvious improvements such as tables and chairs, new machines have been installed as well. Once is a juice machine providing orange juice, apple juice, and my favorite, guava juice. The other addition is the desert refrigerator which showcases what the days desert choice is.

"The food has dramatically improved compared to previous years."

Said Brian Uy, a Menlo College Senior who has experienced 3 years of the old cafeteria.

The cafeteria is a place for students to fill up their stomachs, chat with friends and even get in that last minute study time before the big exam. With the upgrades to the current eating facility students are able to find a comfortable place to sit in one of the new lounge chairs that are set up in the corner of the cafe.

"I am very impressed with the new additions in our cafeteria, when I walked in for the first time this year I was awestruck."

Said Joey Swink, a Junior at Menlo College.

The improvements to the cafeteria this year have really changed the attitude toward the cafeteria for the better. Overall the Menlo College dining facility is a more enjoyable place to go and hang out with friends over a good meal after a long day of study.
