Stressed about becoming a senior? I know I am! As a junior transfer there are many things that have popped up that I wish I had known before I transferred. It made me wonder if there was anything that I should know going into my senior year here!

Here are some words of wisdom from Menlo's current and past seniors:

"Going into your senior year, you should probably know how to do a beer bong. If you don't, you probably need to start college all over..." said senior Mike Cavanaugh.

"When you're going into your senior year, enjoy it. It's the most stressful year for most; capstone is never fun. Regardless, try and take a break now and then and remember that your time to use the excuse "I'm in college...its ok" is almost up" said Nick Berry, Menlo Alum 2009.

"Take capstone first semester if you can!!! You don't want to do it while trying to deal with all the graduation requirements," Said senior Sean Weeks. Capstone is a class that seniors majoring in business must have to graduate.

"Get all your mass communication classes done now before they get rid of them," said first semester senior Kelsey Hannon.

"Enjoy it. It's weird. Most seniors have a full load. They also have a thesis paper to write which is pretty much supposed to be the accumulation of college. so you get stressed. My advice would be to explore the bay area, especially if you're not going to be here in the future. Its a great area to live in and you don't want to look back wishing you had gone somewhere in the city you haven't. Second, take it easy," said senior Cody Gibson.

"Don't wait until the last minute to start your thesis. Make sure to give yourself time to relax and have a drink and make sure to live it up cause you never get your senior year back!" said senior volleyball player, Kelsey Bailey.

"don't wait until the last minute to do any of your work...study and do your work...oh and don't forget to have fun and party as much as u can because once u graduate it goes down the drain because its hello world!" said senior Adri Kinhult. "Stress is the definition of the last two weeks of school, especially when you are graduating!"

It sounds like the consensus is to study hard and party hard! Class of 2011, lets make this next year the best year yet!
